Western Transport

Western Transport was a road transport company that commenced operation in 1934 [1] in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

Founder Cyril Anderson purchased a two-ton Studebaker in 1934, and by 1936 the operation had expanded to four vehicles.

In its heyday, Western Transport operated one of the largest fleet of trucks in Australia.

Through Western Transport, Cyril Anderseon was instrumental in starting up the local truck manufacturing company Leader Trucks.
